"Elaborate atlas" is a phrase I just read.
Bought a house. Across the street, a big construction project. Good for the neighborhood, eventually. Stores, offices, apartments. But, for now: backhoes that look, if you squint your eyes, like dinosaurs, the kinds with the long necks who are forever digging around the in the dirt, big bodies requiring small meals, but endlessly.
