Maybe it's because I'm hung over and the day has taken on a bruised, clear quality, but how about a ripe Bosc pear, the skin like an old man's palm but the flesh sweet and perfect? How about humans traveling in space? How about a Thermos, which keeps coffee hot for just an incredible number of hours? How about a poem a day on the morning radio? I mean, get the fuck out of here, right? It's all beautiful.
