Working on a second try at a query letter for agents and publishers. My friend in Florida is helping me out in this. He's got a young adult fantasy novel and he's had some success with his letter and with enticing agents enough for them to take a look. He knows how to sell much better than I do.
So it occurs to me that to be an atheist or even an agnostic means that you're potentially courting aloneness. And that the one doing the courting should probably do some long and hard considering.
It's cold here. I've got the space heater going. I also strung up white Christmas lights around the tops of my bedroom walls. And while they do not offer much in the way of heat, when I lie on my back, they do offer, with eyes squinted, an approximation of a halo.
